Born July 14, 1906 in Jerome, she was the daughter of the late Samuel Marcus and Mary H. (Baum) Horchler. She was also preceded in death by her husband, G. Wyatt Brenaman; one brother, Freeman Horchler, and one sister, Dorothy Livingood. She was a graduate of Salisbury-Elk Lick High School and Catherman's Business School. Mrs. Brenaman had 43 years service with the Celanese Corporation, where she was a secretary. She was a member of St. Mark's Community Church, Ladies Shrine Club, Women's Sport club, and charter member of Re Temple #118, Daughters of the Nile. Survivors include a brother, Charles B. Horchler, Millersburg; three sisters, Mary Keiffer, Harrisburg, Hazel Beever, York, and Ruth Haning, Woodstock, Ill.; several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, great-great-nieces and great-great nephews. Friends will be received from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at the Upchurch Funeral Home P.A., 202 Greene St., Cumberland, where funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in the funeral home, with Pastor Harold T. Shaffer, officiating. Interment will be in Rose Hill Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mark's Community Church, 221 East Harrison St., Cumberland, Md. 21502.
