Patterson-Brendle, 93, of Somerset, went to be with the Lord on April 19, 2001 at the home of her nephew, William J. Dodson. Born Jan. 12, 1908 in Kelso, she is the daughter of the late Robert C. and Ida M. (Spangler) Gindlesperger. Also preceded in death by her first husband, Clifford Patterson, second husband, Owen Brendle, and sisters, Jeanetta V. Kocerha and Elsie C. Heffelfinger. Survived by nephews, Pastor William J. Dodson of Somerset, John and Edward Kocerha, both of Texas. Member of the Somerset Christian Fellowship Church. World War II veteran serving with the WAC as a wire operator in Italy and Africa. Retired telephone operator. Friends received 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday in the Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home, Somerset. Service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Somerset Christian Fellowship Church with Pastor William J. Dodson, Pastor Johnny Marshall, Pastor Darlene Weimer and Pastor Kathy Grebeck officiating. Interment in the St. Clair Cemetery, Greensburg. Contributions may be made to the Somerset Christian Fellowship, 600 E. Main St., Somerset, Pa. 15501 or Somerset "In Touch" Hospice, 1590 N.
