Brenneman, 61, of Oakland RD 2, Md., died Sunday, Jan. 15, 1989, in the VA Medical Center, Pittsburgh. Born in Accident, Md., April 27, 1927, he was a son of Amelia (Schrock) Brenneman, Bittinger, Md., and the late Ernest R. Brenneman. He was a retired carpenter and miner and an Army veteran of World War II, and attended Glade Mennonite Church. Also surviving are his widow, Ruth E. (Upole) Brenneman; four daughters: Ruby Schwinn, Baltimore, Md.; Jane Moreland, Oakland, Md.; Sue Mason, Parsons, W.Va.; and Sharon Yoder, Accident, Md.; four sons: James Brenneman, Daniel Brenneman, David Brenneman and Kenneth Brenneman, all of Oakland, Md.; seven sisters: Leona Beitzel, Herndon, Va.; Ruth Headings, West Liberty, Ohio; Rhoda Miller and Olive Puffinburg, both of Springs; Miriam Brenneman, Bittinger, Md.; Arlene Zook, Greenwood, Del.; and Lois Brenneman, Traverse City, Michigan; four brothers: Allen Brenneman, Alvin Brenneman and Elmer Brenneman, all of Bittinger, Md.; and Ernest Brenneman, Grantsville, Md.; and eight grandchildren. Friends were received in the Stewart Funeral Home. Services were conducted Wednesday at 2 p.m. in Loch Lynn Church of God by the Rev. Robert Fletcher.
