Brenneman, 66, died Friday night at his home near Bittinger following illness of five months. He was a retired farmer and former Garrett County school teacher. Born May 6, 1881, he was the son of the late Samuel and Mary Brenneman. He was a member of the Bittinger Lutheran Church since childhood. His wife, Agnes (Bittinger) Brenneman survives, with eight children, namely: Mrs. Lester Kisner, Terra Alta, W.Va.; Cecil E. Brenneman, Mrs. Charles Bevans and Miss Lucy Brenneman, Washington, D.C.; Mrs. Naylor Glotfelty, Addison, Pa.; Mrs. Francis Eisel, Frostburg; Melvin L. and Herbert Brenneman at home. Eight grandchildren and one brother, Mahlon Brenneman, also survive. One daughter preceded him in death. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at the Bittinger Lutheran Church and was attended by many friends and relatives. Rev. Curt R. Runze, the pastor, officiated. Pallbearers were Frank Brenneman, Asa Orendorf, Orville Glotfelty, Elmer Shawley, Lawrence Brenneman and Edward Buckel. Robert Brenneman sang "Abide With Me," and the choir sang favorite hymns. Relatives attending included Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Brenneman and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Charles I. Bevans and daughter, Sue Marline and Miss Lucy Brenneman, Washington, D.C.; Mr. and Mrs. Lester Kisner and daughter, Terra Alta, W.Va.; Mr. and Mrs. Naylor Glotfelty and daughters, Addison; Mr. and Mrs. Frances Eisel and children, Frostburg; Mahlon Brenneman, Accident; Mr. and Mrs. Lester Bittinger and son, Oakland; Mr. and Mrs. Irvan Bittinger and children, B. H. Long and son and daughter, Greensburg, Pa.; Mrs. Albert Wagner, Connellsville; Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Orendorf, Oakland; Mrs. Ada Brenneman and son, Robert, Cumberland; Mrs. Sam Otto, Mr. and Mrs. Orval Stark and daughter, Mrs. Althea Beachy and Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Broadwater and daughter, New Germany; Mr. and Mrs. Harry Hoover and sons, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Yommer, Mrs. Marshall Beachy, Hayward Broadwater Jr., James C.
