Brenneman, 81, of 419 21st Avenue, Hollidaysburg, died August 15, 1982, at Altoona Hospital following an extended illness. He was born in Grantsville, Md., on July 18, 1901. He was the son of the late Louis Brenneman and Ada (Swauger) Brenneman. His widow, Lucinda E. (Yantz) Brenneman, survives. He was a retired employee of the Grand Union Tea Company, where he retired in 1963, and a retired employee of the Hollidaysburg State Hospital maintenance department. He was a member of St. Luke's Episcopal Church in Altoona, the United Commercial Travelers and the Pennsylvania Association for Retired State Employees. He is survived by one son, J. Edward Brenneman, Lancaster; a daughter, Mrs. Ruth B. Weaver, of Hollidaysburg; three sisters, Mrs. Ethel Palain and Mrs. Elsie Grim, both of Baltimore, Md.; Mrs. Roseline Gray, of Florida; one brother, Howard R. Brenneman, Westernport; and six grandchildren. Services were conducted at the Holy Trinity Episcopal Church. Interment will be in Alto-Reste Park, Altoona. The Republic, August 19, 1982 [B2621]
