BRENNEMAN Russell Edgar Brenneman, 77, of Accident, MD, died Tuesday, April 6, 1993, at home. He was born on June 11, 1915, in Bittinger, son of the late Simon and Susie (Klotz) Brenneman. He was a farmer and a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Bittinger. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, a member of Grantsville American Legion Post 214, and Woodmen of the World, Camp 65, Bittinger. He is survived by his wife, Mary Anna (Opel) Brenneman; three daughters: Mrs. Royce (Carolyn) Reiss, Brookeville, MD; Mrs. William (Doris) Kerns, Rockville, MD; Mrs. Louis (Ruth) Detrick, Eight Four; one brother, Homer Brenneman, Bittinger; one sister, Fern Myers, Rawlings; and six grandchildren. Friends were received at the Newman Funeral Home. A service was conducted Friday at Emmanuel Lutheran Church with Pastor Louise Knotts officiating. Interment Bittinger Cemetery.
