Born in Bittinger, Md., on Jan. 6, 1912, he was the son of the late Dennis and Mary Lucereta (Oester) Brenneman. He was a retired farmer; member of Springs Mennonite Church and Woodmen of the World Camp 68, Bittinger. Surviving are five brothers: Ralph Brenneman, Accident, Md.; Ray Brenneman, Franklin, Tenn.; Marvin Brenneman, Upperco, Md.; Rex Brenneman, Amarillo, TX; and Olen Brenneman, Grantsville, Md.; five sisters: Mrs. Dorothy Shade, Reisterstown, Md.; Mrs. Hazel Friend, Friendsville, Md.; May Shumaker, Mrs. Nona Meyers and Olis Brenneman, all of Grantsville, Md. Friends were received at the Newman Funeral Home, Grantsville, where services were conducted Sunday at 2 p.m. by the Rev. Steven Heatwole. Interment, Bittinger Cemetery.
