Brick, 31, of Brothersvalley Township died Tuesday afternoon, Nov. 17, in the Hazel McGilvery Hospital in Meyersdale after an illness of 10 days. A son of Shannon and Lulu (Sarver) Brick, he was born on Mar. 10, 1911. For a number of years he had been employed as an attendant at the East End Garage in Berlin. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Margaret Brick; a son, Karl Brick, at home; his parents, and these brothers and sisters: Luella and Dorothy Brick, both of Berlin; Mrs. Gilbert McQuade, Berlin; Mrs. Arthur Sanner, Baltimore, Md.; Robert Brick, Baltimore, and Corp. Edgar Brick, stationed with the U.S. Army in Massachusetts. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:30 o'clock Friday afternoon at the William Baughman home in Brothersvalley Township, where the deceased and his wife resided. Rev. John Bethune, pastor of the Berlin Reformed Church, will officiate. Interment will be in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Berlin, under the direction of the Johnson Funeral Home.
