All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/somerset/ ________________________________________________ EDNA ACKERMAN BRICK Edna (Ackerman) Brick, wife of Donald Brick, of Berlin, died Thursday, February 17, 1944, at 12:30 p.m. at the home of her brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Ross, North Street, Meyersdale, where she had been ill for several months. Mrs. Brick was a daughter of John and Ella (Bittner) Ackerman, both deceased, and was born January 30, 1912, in Summit Township. She was aged at the time of her death 32 years and 17 days. She and her husband for a number of years resided in Berlin. Surviving are her husband, two sisters, Mrs. Ernest Ross, Meyersdale; Mrs. Homer Engleka, Rockwood, and two brothers, Stewart Ackerman, living near Berlin, and Bruce Ackerman, of Berkley's Mill, who is now with the U. S. Armed Forces, and her stepmother, Mrs. Annie (Keidle) Ackerman. Funeral services were conducted in the Fritz Lutheran Church, of which she was a life-long member, by the pastor, Rev. Elwood Stahl. Interment was made in the church cemetery under the direction of H. R. Konhaus, Meyersdale mortician. Meyersdale Republican, February 24, 1944
