Bricker, aged 69, President of the Farmers' National Bank and a well known retired Somerset merchant, died suddenly at 1:30 Tuesday afternoon at his home on West Union Street, from heart trouble. Mr. Bricker had been in poor health for the last year, but his condition had improved recently and he was able to be about his home. A short time before noon, Tuesday, he was stricken and died before his physician could be summoned. For many years he conducted an electrical store on West Main Street, Somerset. He succeeded the late Isaiah Good as president of the Farmers National Bank. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Elizabeth (Hope) Vought, a son, Cleveland Bricker, and a daughter, Mrs. Donald Hopkins, of Lock Haven. Meyersdale Republican, July 30, 1931
