    Iva (Thomas) Bridegum, 86, of Strongstown, died Dec. 28, 1999, at
  Memorial Medical Center.  Born April 3, 1913, in Garrett.  Preceded
  in death by parents, husband, Harry, grandson, Joseph F. Bendick,
  brothers, Alvin, Glen, Charles and Paul, sisters, Hazel Thomas, Dolly
  Thomas, Emma Rouzer and Mable Jackson.  Survived by children,
  Petronella, married to Joseph Bendick, Johnstown, Linda, married to
  Greg Greene, Nashville, Tenn., Iva, married to Edward Rutkowski,
  Scranton, and Shirley, married to Herbert Long, Ebensburg;
  grandchildren, Kathy, married to Jeff Keyser, David, married to Sheri
  Gillin, Ronald, married to Marge Marek, and Jennifer, all of
  Johnstown; seven great-grandchildren; and brother, Roy, Somerset. 
  She was a member of Belsano Faith United Methodist Church.  Friends
  will be received 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., Thursday at the Bowser-Ondriezek
  Funeral Home, Nanty Glo, and from 11 a.m. until time of service at 12
  noon, Friday, at Beachdale Church of the Brethren.  Rev. Larry Black
  officiating.  Interment to follow in Beachdale Cemetery.
