  BRIER
  
    Nancy G. (Stern) Brier, 91, of Somerset RD 6, more recently of
  Patriot Manor, died Jan. 14, 1994, in Somerset Hospital.  Born Dec.
  11, 1902, in Somerset Township.  Daughter of the late Joseph F. and
  Stella G. (Friedline) Stern.  Also preceded by her husband, Charles
  W. Brier on Dec. 10, 1989; these brothers, Edmund, Jacob and Ross
  Stern and one sister Melda L. Phillippi.  Survived by two brothers
  and a sister:  Harry E. and Paul F. Stern, Somerset, and Evelyn G.
  (Stern) Berkey, Somerset RD 6.  Member of the Braddock Trail Chapter
  of the DAR.  Friends will be received 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday at the
  Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home, where service will be conducted
  Monday at 1:30 p.m. Pastor Sherman H. Berkey officiating.  Interment,
  Reformed Cemetery, Lavansville.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be
  given to the Berlin Christian Missionary Alliance Church, South and
  Diamond Street, Berlin, Pa. 15530.
