"Rusty" Brink, 78, 117 Rosedale Drive, Manchester, Pa., formerly of Stoystown, died June 18, 1979, at York (Pa.) Hospital. Born April 3, 1901, in Blairsville, son of the late Morris and Mae Brink. Preceded in death by first wife, the former Pearl Ringler, 1936; daughter, Ellen Miller, 1953; and son, James, 1966. Survived by widow, the former Stella C. Hecki; these children: Margaret, wife of Harvey Joswick, Hooversville RD 1; Beverly, wife of James Holder, Newville, Pa.; and stepsons, Charles Enos, Akron, Ohio; and Donald Enos, York; also seven grandchildren; a great-grandchildren; eight step-grandchildren; and two step-great-grandchildren. Brother of Mrs. Violet Nichols, Meadville, Pa.; Ernest Brink, Jerome; and Ray Brink, Waterman, Pa. Formerly employed by Allis-Chalmers Co., York. Member of International Association of Machinists, UMWA, Emigsville United Methodist Church and Emigsville Fire Company. Friends received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday at Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown, where service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday. Interment, Somerset County Memorial Park.
