  ALTON C. BRISKEY
  
    Alton C. Briskey, 70, of Salisbury RD 1, died Nov. 18, 1974, in
  Sacred Heart Hospital, Cumberland.  born May 18, 1904, in Summit
  Township, he was the son of the late John and Clara (Shumaker)
  Briskey.  He was preceded in death by his wife, the former Grace
  Miller, in 1973.
    Surviving are three sons, James, Meyersdale RD 3; Robert, Salisbury
  RD 1; and of Somerset; two daughters, Mrs. Carol Deal, Salisbury; and
  Mrs. Ruth Scheffel, Adamstown, Md.; also 11 grandchildren, two
  great-grandchildren, a brother, Norbert Briskey of Springs; and two
  sisters, Mrs. Gustava Lohr, Berlin; and Mrs. Beulah Younkin of
  Somerset.
    He was a retired signalman for the B and O Railroad.
    Funeral service will be held at two o'clock this (Thursday)
  afternoon in Thomas Funeral Home, Salisbury, with Rev. David E.
  Fetter officiating.  Interment in Greenville Cemetery.
