  BRISKEY
  
  Leora G. Briskey, 70, of Salisbury RD 1, died Feb. 5, 1987,
  Meyersdale Community Hospital.  Born April 21, 1916, in Elk Lick Twp,
  daughter of the late Ray L. and Susie (Maust) Shoemaker.  Also
  preceeded [sic] in death by a brother, Markle; and a sister, Dorothy
  Miller.  Survived by her husband, Norbert E. Briskey; one daughter,
  Mrs. JoAnn Zimmerman of Salisbury; one grandson, Eric Zimmerman; and
  one brother, Carl D. Shoemaker of Springs.  She was a member of the
  Progressive Mennonite Church.  Friends will be received Friday 2-4
  and 7-9 p.m. at the Thomas Funeral Home, Salisbury, where funeral
  services will be held Saturday 2 p.m. with the Rev. David E. Fetter
  officiating.  Interment, Springs Cemetery.
