  BRISKEY
  
    Norbert E. (Ups) Briskey, 80, of 148 Grant St., Salisbury, died
  July 22, 1990 at Meyersdale Community Hospital.  Born Oct. 25, 1909,
  at Springs.  Son of the late John A. Briskey and Clara Shumaker
  Stevanus.  He was a retired maintenance mechanic for Harbison-Walker
  Refractory, Grantsville, Md.  He was preceded in death by his wife
  Leora Shoemaker Briskey, Feb. 5, 1987.  He was a member of the
  Progressive Mennonite Church.  Survivors include one daughter JoAnn
  Zimmerman, Salisbury; one sister, Beulah Younkin, Salisbury; one
  grandson, Eric Zimmerman, Salisbury.  Friends will be received at the
  Newman Funeral Home, Salisbury, Monday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where services
  will be conducted on Tuesday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. David E. Fetter
  officiating.  Interment in Springs Cemetery.
