  BRITTAIN
  
    Former Aurora resident Freda V. (Ritchey) Brittain, 81, died in
  Doylestown after a long illness.  She was born in Maryland and had
  lived in Aurora and Stoystown.  Survivors include her son, Larry
  Ritchey of Doylestown; daughters, Ruth Brinit of Blairsville and
  Betty Filicky of Stoystown; seven grandchildren; two great
  grandchildren; brothers, Ray, Ralph, Richard and Blaine Resh all of
  Maryland, Carlton Resh of Mantua and Guy Resh of Aurora; and sisters,
  Mabel Miller, Pauline Yommer and Thelma Bittinger, all of Maryland,
  Blanche Hillegass of Pennsylvania and Gladys Butler of Jefferson. 
  Former owner of Green Goose in Central City.  Services were held at
  Mantua Country Baptist Church, Aurora.  The Rev. Murray Bay
  officiated.  Burial was in Westlawn Cemetery.  Arrangements were made
  by Monbarron Funeral Home, 132 N. Portage St. in Doylestown.
