ELI B. BROADWATER

  Eli B. Broadwater, aged 75, died last Friday afternoon at the home of his son, 
Earl Broadwater, at St. Paul, Elk Lick Township, following a stroke of 
paralysis, which he suffered Thursday.  His wife, Mrs. Susan (Harmon) 
Broadwater, passed away several years ago.  Surviving are these children:  
Clarence M., of Cumberland, Md.; Oscar and Jesse, both of Maryland; Calvin and 
Earl, both of St. Paul; Cornelia, of Meyersdale, and Mrs. Sarah Oster, of 
Somerset.  Funeral services were conducted Monday morning at 10:30 o'clock at 
the Lutheran Church at Bittinger, Md., in charge of the Rev. S. D. Sigler.
