  MRS. THOMAS BROADWATER
  
    Mrs. Esther V. Broadwater, 64, died Dec. 14, in Miners Hospital,
  Frostburg, after a lingering illness.
    Born in Grantsville, she was a daughter of the late Charles and
  Emma (Yutzy) Bender.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr.
  Thomas O. Broadwater.  She was a member of the United Church of
  Christ, Grantsville, and of the Women's Guild of that church.
    Surviving are a brother, Charles O. Bender, Grantsville, and a
  sister, Mrs. Beulah Gnagey, Baltimore.
    Funeral service was conducted on Saturday at the Newman Funeral
  Home, Grantsville, by Rev. Richard Harder.  Interment was made in the
  Salisbury IOOF Cemetery.
