  GRACE H. BROADWATER
  
    Grace H. Broadwater, 71, of Grantsville, Md., died Sunday, Oct. 31,
  1993, at the Meyersdale Community Hospital.
    Born on March 25, 1922 in Mount Savage, she was the daughter of the
  late Adam and Florence (Smearman) Hanft.
    Mrs. Broadwater was a retired clerk for the U.S. Postal Service. 
  She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church, Grantsville.
    Surviving are her husband, Robert W. Broadwater and one daughter,
  Gaye Lynn Broadwater, Grantsville.
    Friends were received at the Newman Funeral Home, Grantsville, on
  Monday where service was conducted at 1 p.m. on Tuesday with the Rev.
  Louise Knotts officiating.  Interment, Grantsville Cemetery.
