  HOWARD BROADWATER
  
    Howard C. Broadwater, 80, of 93 Sheldon Avenue, Fairchance, died
  October 16 at his home.  He was born in Garrett County, Md., a son of
  the late Mr. and Mrs. Fred Broad-
    A World War I veteran, he was a member of American Legion Post 51
  of Uniontown and the Red Men's Society, Westernport, Md.
    Surviving are his wife, Cleo Murphy Broadwater; five sons, Arthur
  Broadwater, Uniontown; Foster Lee and Owen W. Broadwater, Washington;
  Thomas and Daniel Broadwater, both at home; two daughters, Mrs. Leora
  J. Wilson, Washington, D.C., and Mrs. Doris Parker, Uniontown; two
  sisters, Mrs. Mabel Geddes, Cleveland, Ohio, and Mrs. Blanche Priest,
  Detroit, Mich., and eight grandchildren.
    Services were conducted in the Newman Funeral Home Saturday
  afternoon, the Rev. Alda Maust officiating.  Interment was in the
  Broadwater Cemetery, Dry Run.
