  LEE BROADWATER
  
    Lee Broadwater, 93, of Star Route, Grantsville, MD, died Saturday,
  March 13, 1993 at Meyersdale Community Hospital.
    Born Aug. 19, 1899 at New Germany, he was the son of the late Frank
  and Stella (Henline) Broadwater.  He was also preceded in death by his
  first wife, Katie (Durst) Broadwater on Dec. 17, 1968.
    He was a member of Glade Mennonite Church and was employed for over
  50 years as a coal miner.
    Survivors include his wife, Alta L. (Orendorf) Broadwater; one
  daughter, Lena Broadwater, Bloomington, MD; two sisters:  Mae Alverio
  and Myrtle Broadwater, both of Keyser, WV; one granddaughter, Kathryn
  Harvey and husband, Glenn Harvey, Bloomington; two
  great-grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
    Friends were received Tuesday at the Newman Funeral Home,
  Grantsville.  Services were held there Wednesday, the Rev. Alan
  Kauffman officiating.  Interment Durst Cemetery.
