  Phyllis C. Broadwater, 77, Berlin, formerly of New Centerville, died Oct. 24,
  2005, at home. Born April 27, 1928, in Meyersdale daughter of James and Nora
  Pearl (Klingaman) Boyer. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Ray H.;
  sisters, Ruth Irwin and Margretta Fike; and brother, Ralph Boyer. Survived by
  children, Larry and friend Charlotte, Central City; Nancy, married to Terry
  Griffith, Berlin; Kevin, married to the former Robyn Bear, Meyersdale; and
  Karen, married to Jesse Maust, Springs; eight grandchildren; and six
  great-grandchildren. Also survived by a brother, Ralph Boyer, Orlando, Fla.;
  and aunt, Mabel Duffy, Summerhill. She was a waitress for many years and a
  retired manager of the former Rite Aid Drug Store, Somerset. Family will
  receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Deaner Funeral Home,
  Berlin where service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday. The Rev. John Harmon
  officiating. Interment, Union Cemetery, New Centerville.
