  VERNON BROADWATER
  
    Vernon N. Broadwater, 62, Grantsville, died Feb. 23, 1973, in
  Cuppett-Weeks Nursing Home, Oakland.  Born in New Germany, he was a
  son of the late Nelson E. and Ada B. (Chaney) Broadwater.
    He was a member of St. Paul's United Methodist church.
    Surviving are three brothers, Marshall Broadwater, Cumberland; Carl
  Broadwater, Grantsville; and Ellsworth Broadwater, Swanton, Md.; and a
  sister, Mrs. Kathryn Frickey, Grantsville.
    Funeral service was conducted Sunday afternoon in Newman Funeral
  Home, Grantsville, with Rev. Paul Lovejoy officiating.  Interment in
  Grantsville Cemetery.
