    Alfred C. Brocht, 72, Shaffer Street, Somerset, died April 22,
  1996, at his home.  Born April 17, 1924, in Garrett, son of the late
  Alfred V. and Beulah (Christner) Brocht.  Also preceded in death by
  stepfather, Charles Martin.  Survived by wife, the former Anna M.
  Drabish; daughter, Patricia, wife of David McCall, Somerset; these
  grandchildren:  Jeremy Todd, Matthew James, and Daniel Elias McCall;
  sister, Beatrice Marteny, Umatilla, Fla.  Retired Somerset borough
  policeman.  Retired also from Somerset County Sheriffs Department and
  Somerset Area Schools.  Member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Somerset;
  Somerset Lodge 358, F&AM, and Harrisburg Consistory.  Friends will be
  received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Robert H.
  Halverson Funeral Home, where service will be conducted at 11 a.m.
  Thursday, Pastor Robert Hoover.  Interment, Husband Cemetery.  In
  lieu of flowers, donations may be given to Windber Hospice, Windber
  Hospital, Windber, Pa. 15963
