Brocht, 90, of Rockwood, passed on Sept. 14, 2002 at home. Born Aug. 14, 1912 in Garrett, the son of Bruce and Mary (Fisher) Brocht. Preceded in death by parents; brothers, Galen, John, William and Roy Brocht; sisters, Rosella Hall, Emma Romesburg, Ruth Barron and Mabel Walker; and two infant siblings. Survived by wife of 62 years, Lillie (Gary) Brocht; children, Nancy, married to Wayne Schrock of Berlin, Roger, married to Delores Brocht of Rockwood, Rickie Brocht of Somerset, Robin, married to Mark Zambanini of Quecreek, and Kathy, married to Richard Hay of Bakersville. Also survived by 15 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Brother of Helen Fuller of Clairton. He was a retired railroader for the Western Maryland Rail Line with 40 years service and also farmed and raised beef cattle. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at Miller Funeral Home, Rockwood, where a service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday. Rev. Douglas Baker officiating.
