  James (Took) Brocht, 71, Meyersdale, died Sept. 16, Sacred Heart
  Hospital, Cumberland.  Born Mar. 8, 1903, in Garrett, a son of the
  late Simon and Mary Morgan Brocht.  Survived by his widow, Martha
  Lindeman, and two brothers, Charles A., of Garrett, and Thomas M.,
  Meyersdale.  Was a retired chief of police.  Meyersdale Borough, and
  a member of the Zion Lutheran Church, and of Meyersdale Masonic Lodge
  554, Scottish Rite, Harrisburg, Jaffa Temple, Altoona.  Life member,
  Meyersdale Volunteer Fire Dept. and of Meyersdale LOOM.  Friends will
  be received in William R. Price Funeral Home, Inc., Meyersdale, after
  2 p.m. Tuesday, where services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m., with
  Rev. Charles Staub.  Interment, Union Cemetery, Meyersdale.
