  BROCHT
  
    Ronald D. Brocht, 57, of Meyersdale died Feb. 28, 2000 at his
  home.  He was born March 30, 1942 in Garrett, a son of the late John
  V. and Bessie Mae (Atchison) Brocht.  He is survived by his widow
  Betty (Christner) Brocht and these children:  Twila Brocht, married
  to Richard Most Jr., Ron and his wife Darlene Hahn, Judy married to
  Denny Howare, and Jim and his wife Norma Hahn, all of Meyersdale;
  Dale Brocht of Salisbury, and Debbie married to Robert Walker of
  Garrett, 14 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren.  Also brothers
  Roy, Lee, Stanley and Paul Brocht, all of College Park, Md.  Sisters
  Janet Merrbaugh of Grantsville, Md. and Lynn and Mary of Ill. and
  many nieces and nephews.  Employed for seven years by Suder
  Distributors, Meyersdale.  Previously employed for 24 years by R. W.
  Decker of Garrett.  He was a lover of animals.  He enjoyed hunting
  and spending time with his family.  Friends will be received 2 to 4
  and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Leckemby Funeral Home where the funeral
  service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday with Pastor Albert Valentine
  officiating.  Interment, Union Cemetery.
