  THOMAS M. BROCHT
  
    Thomas M. Brocht, 60, of Meyersdale died June 28, 1981, in
  Cumberland, Md.
    Born Aug. 27, 1920, in Garrett, a son of the late Simon and Mary
  Frances (Morgan) Brocht.  Also preceded in death by his daughter,
  Ruth Ellen; five brothers and one sister.
    Survived by his wife, the former Margaret Schrock; and these
  children:  Thomas M. II, Baltimore, Md.; Mrs. Alice Jane Shope,
  Fairfax, Va.; Mrs. Ida Frances Streng, Mrs. Julia Marie Bittner and
  Mrs. Mary Susan Shumaker, all of Meyersdale; Miss Sarah Louise and
  Miss Amy Lyunn, both at home; 10 grandchildren.
    He was a retired carpenter.  Member of Carpenters' Local 2274 of
  Pittsburgh.  Also a member of the Zion Lutheran Church, Meyersdale.
    Friends were received at the Price Funeral Home, Meyersdale, where
  services were conducted July 1, with the Rev. Lloyd Wilson
  officiating.  Interment, Highland Cemetery, Garrett.
