  William L. Brocht, 89, of Garrett RD 1, died July 31, 1989, at his
  home.  Born June 3, 1900, in Garrett, a son of the late Bruce and
  Mary (Fisher) Brocht, also preceded in death by his wife the former
  Carrie Weaver.  Survived by son Bruce H. Brocht of Garrett, a
  stepson, Floyd Sweeney, Meyersdale and step-daughter, Mrs. Helen
  Reiss of Choctaw, Okla.  Ten grandchildren, sixteen
  great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren, a brother,
  Galen of Garrett, Homer of Rockwood, Mrs. Rosella Hall of Berlin,
  Mrs. Helen Fuller of Pittsburgh, Mrs. Emma Romesburg, and Mrs. Ruth
  Barron, both of Somerset.  Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9
  p.m. Tuesday at the Price Funeral Home, Meyersdale where services
  will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday with Pastor William Phennicie
  officiating.  Interment Highland Cemetery Garrett.
