ERNEST W. BROESEKER

  Ernest W. Broeseker, 85, well-known retired farmer of Brothersvalley Twp., 
died at 8 o'clock Tuesday evening at his home.  He had been in ill health for 
some months.  He was born in Germany, but immigrated to America many years ago, 
and was a former resident of Meyersdale.
  He retired from active farming nearly 20 years ago.  Surviving are his wife, 
the former Catherine Keidel, and eight children: Edward, William, Gus, Karl, 
Ernest, Jr., and Mrs. Ralph Hay, all of Brothersvalley Twp.; Emma, at home, and 
Mrs. Robert A. Deeter, Altoona.
  Friends are being received at the Broeseker home.  Funeral services will be 
conducted at 2:30 o'clock Friday afternoon at Hays Reformed Church by Rev. F. D. 
Witmer, pastor.  Interment will be in the church cemetery under the direction of 
Johnson & Son, Berlin morticians.
