  JAMES M. BROOKS
  
    James M. Brooks, 84, of Meyersdale, died Nov. 28, 1979, in Bedford
  County Memorial Hospital.
    He was born Aug. 18, 1895, in Meyersdale, a son of the late James
  and Fannie (Albright) Brooks.  Also preceded in death by a sister,
  Martha Darrah.
    He is survived by a number of nieces and nephews.  He was a veteran
  of World War I, member of the Zion Lutheran Church and Meyersdale
  American Legion.
    Friends were received at the M. Ray Leckemby Funeral Home, where
  services were held with the Rev. Lloyd Wilson.  Interment, Union
  Cemetery.
