  BROOKS
  
  Mary E. Brooks, 84, of Meyersdale RD 3, formerly of Berlin, died July
  21, 1987, at home.  She was born Oct. 15, 1902, in Maryland, the
  daughter of John and Minnie (Switzer) Durst.  Preceded in death by
  parents; husband, David T.; son, William; daughter, Betty Nagucki;
  two sisters; two brothers; and two grandchildren.  She is survived by
  a daughter, Mrs. Harriet Spurrier, Baltimore, Md.; 10 grandchildren;
  25 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.  She was the
  sister of Robert Durst, Friedens RD 2; William Durst, Masury, Ohio;
  Mrs. Elva Shirt, Windber; and Ben Durst, Dearborn, Mich.  She was a
  member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church and the Berlin American Legion
  Auxiliary.  Friends were received Wednesday evening and will be
  received 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday with the Rev. Ralph E. Mills
  officiating.  Interment, Berlin I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
