  BROOKS
  
  Maude Miller Brooks, 96, Indian Head, died May 6, 1986.  She was born
  Oct. 13, 1889, at Indian Head.  She was a daughter of the late John H.
  and Margaret (Pritts) Miller.  She is survived by three daughters: 
  Mrs. Harold (Virginia) White, Mrs. Merle (Iva Margaret) Miller and
  Mrs. Meredith (Doris) Miller, all of Indian Head; one son, Samuel C.
  Brooks, Connellsville; 21 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. 
  She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde B. Brooks, who died
  in 1961, and a daughter, E. Jeane King, who died in 1973; also one
  sister, two brothers, two half-sisters and one half-brother.  Friends
  will be received 7-9 p.m. Wednesday and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday at
  the Clyde Brooks Funeral Home Inc., Route 711, Melcroft, where
  services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. with the Revs. James W. Moss
  Jr. and Dr. G. Marion Smith officiating.  Interment, Mt. Nebo
  Cemetery.
