  DAISY A. BROUGHER
  
    Daisy A. Brougher, 88, of Lehighton, formerly of Jerome, died June
  6, 1976, at Gnaden Huetten Memorial Hospital, Lehighton.  She was
  born August 16, 1887, in Confluence, a daughter of James and Mary
  Ellen Kreger Colborn.
    She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Freeman J.
  Sr. who died June 2, 1962; her daughter, Olive; and son, O. Glenn. 
  She is survived by these children:  Freeman J. Jr., Lehighton; and
  Ruth, wife of Jess A. Burk, Johnstown; six grandchildren; eight
  great-grandchildren; and sister Elizabeth Stairs, Confluence.
    She was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Lehighton,
  and a former member of Jerome Lutheran Church.
    The funeral service was held Wednesday afternoon at the Joseph H.
  Hoffman Funeral Home in Boswell with the Rev. George A. Clark
  officiating.  Interment, Jersey Church Cemetery, near Confluence.
