  BROUGHER
  
  Gary Elwood Brougher Sr., 59, beloved husband and father, of
  Somerset, died Dec. 22, 2003, at his residence.  Born March 12, 1944,
  in Somerset, a son of Elwood Jacob and Dorothy Caroline (Maust)
  Brougher.  Preceded in death by father.  Survived by mother Dorothy,
  of Somerset; wife, the former Charlotte Joy Paxton to whom he was
  married 40 years; children:  Miss Karen J. Brougher of Martinsburg,
  W.Va. and Mr. Gary E. Brougher Jr. married to the former Amanda Raley
  of White Oak; grandchildren Hannah, Andrew and Caleb.  Brother of Mrs.
  Barbara Riggsby of Nashville, Tenn. and Mr. Cary Lynn Brougher of
  Meyersdale.  A 1963 graduate of Somerset High School.  A U.S. Army
  veteran of Vietnam.  Retired in 1996 with 30 years of service as a
  Millwright with U.S. Steel.  Member of Somerset Faith in Jesus Church
  where he served as treasurer.  Also member of Somerset Chapter of
  Vietnam Veterans, and Mountain Field and Stream Club in Roxbury. 
  Friends received 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Hauger-Zeigler
  Funeral Home, Somerset, where service will be conducted 1:30 p.m.
  Saturday with the Rev. Charles T. Kelly officiating.  Interment
  Somerset County Memorial Park.  Contributions may be made to Somerset
  "In Touch" Hospice, 1590 Center Ave., Somerset, Pa. 15501.
