  ROSS BROUGHER
  
    Ross Brougher, 79, Markleton RD 1, died Nov. 28 in Somerset
  Community Hospital.  He was born Nov. 20, 1894 in Upper Turkeyfoot
  Township, a son of Madison and Maggie Meyers Brougher.
    Surviving are his wife, Pauline Kreger Brougher, Markleton RD 1; a
  son, Orville Brougher, Markleton RD 1; a stepson, Ray K. Brougher,
  Markleton RD 1; a foster daughter, Mrs. Dale E. Landis, Racine, Wis.;
  seven grandchildren; eight great grandchildren and three
  step-grandchildren.
    He was preceded in death by his first wife, Mable Fern Meyers
  Brougher in 1956 and by a daughter, Thelma, in 1932 and a son, Robert
  in 1930.
    He was a lifelong member of the Church of the Brethren.
    Services were held Dec. 1 in Middlecreek Church of the Brethren
  with the Rev. Gerald Deffenbaugh, the Rev. Donald Hursh and the Rev.
  Paul Tobias officiating.  Interment in Fairview Cemetery in charge of
  William J. Wood Funeral Home.
