Brown, 88, of Jerome died Jan. 28, 1978 at the Siemon Nursing Home in Somerset. Born April 4, 1889 in Sand Patch, a daughter of Benjamin and Christina (Deist) Stone. Preceded in death by parents; first husband, Michael Kelly who died in 1912; and second husband, Charles Brown, who died in 1969; daughter, Hazel Lucille; also several brothers and sisters. Survived by son, Robert L. Kelly, married to the former Ruth Williamson of Davidsville; two daughters: Helen, widow of Steve Harmon of Jerome; and Doris, wife of Don Thomas of Hollsopple RD 1; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Sister of Mrs. Emma Karcher of Meyersdale RD 4. Member of the Jerome Lutheran Church and life member of the Jerome Fire Department Auxiliary. Friends were received from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday and will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Monday and until 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Joseph H. Hoffman Funeral Home, 227 Allegheny St., Boswell, when the body will be moved to the Jerome Lutheran Church for viewing from noon until time of service at 1 p.m. with the Rev. George A.
