  BROWN
  
    Blanche C. Brown, 72, Meyersdale RD 4, died July 31, 1985 at
  Whightman Health Center, Pittsburgh.  Born Nov. 26, 1912 in Somerset,
  a daughter of the late Charles L. and Catharine (Landis) Shumaker. 
  Also preceded in death by her husband, Ray W., Sr. Survived by these
  children: Ray W., Jr., Blytheville, Ark.; and Mrs. Beverly J.
  Buterbaugh, Meyersdale RD 4; also, five grandchildren and a great
  granddaughter.  A sister of Harvey of Mandore, Ohio; Daniel of Akron,
  Ohio; Merle of Granbrills, Md.; Mrs. Nora Chilton and Mrs. Margaret
  Blankenbiller, both of Reading.  She was a member of the Community
  Mission Chapel.  Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
  Friday at the Price Funeral Home, Meyersdale, where services will be
  conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday with the Rev. Glen Snyder officiating.
  Interment, Union Cemetery.
