  Clara F. Brown, 74, of Meyersdale, died Feb. 10, 1987, at Meyersdale
  Community Hospital.  Born Feb. 29, 1912, in Russelton, Pa., a
  daughter of the late Calvin and Nettie (Glessner) Valentine.  Also
  preceded in death by five brothers and one grandchild.  Survived by
  husband, Arthur M.; and these children: Wilbur of Barberton, Ohio;
  Paul F. of Meyersdale; Helen, wife of Albert J. Putman of Somerset;
  nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.  A sister of: Oscar,
  Stoystown RD 1; Earl and Mrs. Marie Patsy, both of Meyersdale; Mrs.
  Pearl Romesberg of Garrett; Miss Thelma of Baltimore; and Mrs.
  Rosella Burley of McKeesport.  A member of Zion Lutheran Church. 
  Former employee of Meyersdale Manufacturing Co.  Friends will be
  received at the Leckemby Funeral Home 7-9 p.m. Thursday and 2-4 and
  7-9 p.m. Friday, where service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, the Rev.
  Lloyd Wilson officiating.  Interment, Union Cemetery.
