  CLARENCE "JACK" BROWN
  
    Clarence "Jack" Brown, 83, of Bolivar, Pa., died Sept. 8, 1994, at
  his home.
    Born Aug. 12, 1911, he was the son of the late Hiram and Nannie
  (Dietle) Brown.
    He was preceded in death by his wife, Jenny (Smith) Brown; a
  grandson, Jeff; four brothers: Frank, Ray, Elmer, and Clyde; and
  three sisters: Erma Pritts, June Decker, and Pauline Gnagey.
    He is survived by these children: Patty, Bolivar; Jack, Irwin; and
  Barbara, Tempe, Az.; 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.  He
  was a brother of Hilda Swindell and Robert Brown, both of Meyersdale.
    Mr. Brown was a veteran of World War II and was retired from the
  Pennsylvania Turnpike.  He also lived in Roanoke, Va. a number of
  years.
    Funeral arrangements were made in Greensburg, where cremation took
  place.
