BROWN Dalton Franklin Brown, 82, of 18 Myrtle Avenue, Stony Creek Mills, Pa., died June 29, 1996, in Community General Hospital, where he had been admitted earlier in the day. Brown was born in Meyersdale. He was the son of the late Peter F. and Mary E. (Pugh) Brown. He was the husband of Evelyn R. (Murray) Brown. He is also survived by a daughter, Twila Y., the wife of Merlin E. Ulrich, Douglassville; three brothers: Mahlon, Defiance, Ohio; Homer, New Paris, Bedford County; and Joseph, Meyersdale; four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Orean D. Brown. Brown was employed for 35 years as a mechanic by BARTA, retiring in December 1979. He was a member of the Spring Valley Church of God, Temple. Services were held July 3 in the Spring Valley Church of God. Burial was in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Reiffton. The Auman Funeral Home, Reading, was in charge of arrangements.
