  MRS. NELSON C. BROWN
  
    Mrs. Elaine Lau Brown, formerly of Spring Grove, died Thursday,
  Feb. 11, 1982 at Barley Convalescent Home-South.
    She was the wife of the late Rev. Dr. Nelson C. Brown, former
  pastor of Heidelberg United Church of Christ, York.  Rev. Brown was
  pastor of Amity Church, Meyersdale 1940 to 1948.
    Mrs. Brown was a noted educator and churchwoman in the area and was
  a member of Heidelberg United Church of Christ.
    Survived by a daughter - Mrs. Patricia Ann Brown, Tall Oaks, York,
  Pa.
    Memorial services will be at Heidelberg United Church of Christ, 41
  W. Philadelphia St., York, Pa.  Cremated remains were buried at St.
  Peter's (Lischey's) Union Cemetery during private services.
    The Baumeister and Orcutt Colonial Mortuary, Queen and Jackson
  streets, was in charge of arrangements.
