  BROWN
  
    Elizabeth Mae Brown, 74, of Friedens RD 1, died Nov. 27, 1997, in
  Somerset Hospital.  Born May 11, 1923, in Brothersvalley Township,
  daughter of the late Sylvester W. and Anna (Miller) Koontz.  Preceded
  in death by husband Joseph I. Brown; two infant sons; two
  grandchildren, Penny Klink and Scott Seifert; a sister Betty Hurl and
  brothers Jim and Norman Koontz.  Survived by these children: Betty,
  wife of Reed Klink, and Grace Paul, both of Somerset; Shirley, wife
  of James France, Boswell RD 2; William (Bill) and wife Pat, Girard,
  Ohio; Jo Ann Brown, Somerset; and Patricia Brown, at home; ten
  grandchildren, Margaret Klink, Mona Bence, Don Paul, John Paul,
  Pamela Seifert, Anna Anderson, Linda Brown and Kenny Brown, and Lisa
  and Joe Brown; six great-grandchildren and two
  great-great-grandchildren; one brother, Louis Koontz and his wife
  Mary of Warren, Ohio; and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins. 
  Friends were received Friday, and will be received 2 to 4 and 7 to 9
  p.m. today, Saturday at the Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home, where
  service will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Sunday.  The Rev. John Buchko
  officiating.  Interment, Somerset County Memorial Park.
