  BROWN
  
    Elmer Clay Brown, 84, of Meyersdale, died May 2, 1993, at
  Meyersdale Manor.  Born April 27, 1909, in Meyersdale Maple Manor. 
  Son of the late Hiram and Nannie (Dietle) Brown.  Preceded in death
  by his wife, the former Grace Blocher.  Survived by brothers and
  sisters: Clarence Brown, Bolivar; Hilda Swindle and Robert Brown,
  both of Meyersdale; Clyde S. Brown, Frostburg, Md., and June Decker,
  Garrett.  Member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Salisbury.  Veteran,
  U.S. Navy WWII.  Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9
  Tuesday at the Price Funeral Home, Meyersdale, where service will be
  conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, with Pastor Rev. David Fetter
  officiating.  Interment, Salisbury Cemetery.
