Born Aug. 3, 1889, in Garrett County, Md., daughter of the late Richard F. and Mary Jane (Nedrow) Housel. Preceded in death by her husband, Albert, Nov. 12, 1976; and three children: Margaret, Carl and Alice. Survived by these children: Leonard C., San Francisco, Calif.; Mrs. Mary Dickel, Mt. Savage, Md.; Grace Hostetler, Coatesville; Leona Blough, Jerome; and Alma Baker, Somerset RD 7; 23 grandchildren, 58 great-grandchildren, and 32 great-great-grandchildren. One sister, Viola Durr, Frostburg, Md. Member of St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church, Somerset. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today (Tuesday) at the Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home, where wake service will be conducted at 8:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday at 11 a.m. in St. Peter's Church, with Monsignor Samuel Tomaselli officiating.
