Brown, 75, of Acosta, died April 19, 1978, in Somerset Community Hospital. Born Feb. 22, 1903, in Salisbury, he was the son of the late Harvey M. and Mary Ellen (Harding) Brown. He was preceded in death by his parents, five sisters and two brothers. He is survived by his wife, Christine (Remz) Omerzo Brown and these stepchildren: John Omerzo, Anna Shaffer and Mary Mullen, all of Acosta; Mike Omerzo, Somerset RD 2; James and Robert, Warren, Ohio; Frank, Louis and Mrs. Donna Gates, all of Courtland, Ohio; and Thomas, Easton, Pa. He is survived by these brothers and sisters: Frank, Boswell; Arthur and Mrs. Ellen Wagner, Meyersdale; Ralph, Salisbury; Anna Weimer, Sipesville; Lena McKenzie, Rockville, Md.; and a half-brother, Harvey Brown Jr., Salisbury. He was a member of St. John's Roman Catholic Church in Acosta, UMWA Jenners Local, Jenners Rod and Gun Club, and was a retired coal miner. Mass was held Saturday in St. John's Catholic Church, Acosta, with the Rev. J. Joseph Strittmattic officiating. Interment, Ralphton Cemetery. Arrangements were made by the Robert H.
