  GEORGE "ED" BROWN
  
    George "Ed" Brown, 83, of Hyndman RD 1, died Thursday, May 4, 1989
  at Memorial Hospital, Cumberland, Md.
    Born in Corriganville, Md., March 25, 1906, he was the son of the
  late George N. Brown and Anna Mae (Madden) Brown Clites.
    He retired in 1968 as supervising engineer at the University of
  Pennsylvania Hospital in Philadelphia.  He was a member of the
  Hyndman First United Methodist Church.
    Survivors include his widow, Evelyn M. (Burkett) Brown; one
  daughter, Eleanor R. Thomas, Hyndman; and two sisters, Elizabeth
  Boore, of New Jersey, and Elva Robertson, Cumberland, Md.
    The Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home was in charge
