  HAZEL J. BROWN
  
    Hazel J. Brown, 71, of LaVale, MD, died Monday, Aug. 6, 1990 at
  Memorial Hospital, Cumberland, MD.
    She was born March 14, 1919 in Salisbury, daughter of the late
  Samuel and Mary Ann (Stevanus) Gray.
    She was a homemaker and was of the Pentecostal faith.  She was a
  member of the Good Fellowship Club, Cumberland, and the Cumberland
  Aerie 245, Fraternal Order of Eagles Auxiliary.
    She is survived by her husband, Lawrence M. Brown; two sons, David
  L. Brown, Cumberland, MD; and William L. Brown, LaVale, MD; one
  daughter, Patricia Mae Klahre, Cumberland, MD; two sisters, Maude
  White and Mazie Engle, both of Meyersdale; 11 grandchildren and eight
  great-grandchildren.
    Friends will be received Wednesday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the
  Hafer Chapel of the Hills Mortuary.
    The Good Fellowship Club Ladies Auxiliary Memorial members will
  hold a memorial service at the funeral home Wednesday at 8 p.m.
    Services will be conducted Thursday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home
  by Bishop Ervin Knieriem.
    Interment will be in the Salisbury Cemetery.
