C. formerly of Indian Lake, passed away on June 20, 2002 at Conway Hospital in Conway, S. C. Born Nov. 214, 1930 in Rumford, Maine. Son of the late Harry C. and Elizabeth (Voter) Brown. He was preceded in death by his wife, Beverly Jean Brown. He is survived by his wife, Virginia "Ginger" (Smith) Brown of Surfside Beach, S. C.; children, Linda B. married to Robert Palmer of Forest Va.; James A. Brown, married to Judy of Purcellville, Va.; Jeffrey C. Brown of Englewood, Colo.; David W. Robinson, married to Hope of Somerset; Bernard D. Robinson, married to Brenda, of Mt. Savage, Md.; nine grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of Ann E. Miller of Cape Neddick, Maine and Timothy Brown, married to Marilyn of Gray, Maine; and the brother-in-law of William E. Miller of Elmer City, Wash.; Clara Jean Waltman of Winchester, Va.; and Judy and Gary Henry of Cumberland, Md. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and the Central Intelligence Agency. Following service he was a Chief Design Engineer, Freight Division of Bethlehem Steel in Johnstown. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday and Monday at Miller Funeral Home, Somerset where service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Rev. Gerald Deffenbaugh officiating. Interment, Somerset County Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to the American Cancer Society at 168 W. Union St., Somerset, Pa., 15501.
